Why You Should Use a Facebook Page For Your Business

Facebook Pages are a great way to build relationships with your customers. They’re easy to set up (just go here) and once you’re done you can suggest the Page to all of your Facebook friends.

Some of the benefits are how easy it is to grow your base of followers because of the “Like” feature on Fan pages (what used to be called “Become a Fan”). It’s easy for people to do, and it shows up in their live feed, so their friends are more likely to check it out. Your fans can also tag your page in any status updates they make.

Also, you can still post text and photos, but now your fans can, too. So if you were running a photo contest, for example, your fans could post on that page (as the admin you can monitor, of course).

Best of all, you get a Facebook Page report emailed to you from Facebook so you can easily see the activity on your page and if your campaigns are working.

In case you didn’t know, it is against Facebook terms to use actual profiles for businesses, so if you have a business “profile” you should move it to a Page. You can send your profile contacts a message telling them to move over, and post it on your profile as well.
